Know your ward
Seven wards, one mayor
Haldimand added a seventh ward for 2026 and drew new boundaries, so even longtime voters should double-check where they now vote. Click any ward on the map to see its candidates below. Boundaries come from the county's official ward map.
First Nations lands (Six Nations of the Grand River and the Mississaugas of the Credit) are not part of the county wards and are shown unshaded. Map source: Haldimand County GIS, new ward boundaries effective for the 2026 election.
Candidates
Everyone on your ballot
Every candidate gets the same format: what the public record gives as reasons not to vote for them first, then reasons you might consider them. Where a point is negative, it links straight to the published source. Candidates are listed alphabetically by surname in every race.
Red flag candidates
Serious matters on the public record
These candidates have matters on the public record that many voters will want to weigh: criminal charges, code-of-conduct findings, or campaign-finance offences. Every item below links to its published source. A red flag is not a verdict: charges are allegations until proven, and you should read the sources and decide for yourself.
